{クメール・ルージュ
クメール・ルージュ was a radical communist movement in Cambodia that ruled the country from 1975 to 1979. Led by ポル・ポト, the group aimed to transform Cambodia into a classless agrarian society. Their regime is known for its extreme policies, which included forced labor, mass executions, and the abolition of money and private property.
During their rule, an estimated 1.7 million people died due to starvation, forced labor, and executions, marking this period as one of the darkest in Cambodian history. The クメール・ルージュ was eventually overthrown by the Vietnamese invasion in 1979, leading to the establishment of a new government in Cambodia.
