Βόρεια Κορέα, officially known as the Λαϊκή Δημοκρατία της Κορέας, is a country located in East Asia, occupying the northern part of the Korean Peninsula. It shares borders with Νότια Κορέα to the south, Κίνα to the north, and Ρωσία to the northeast. The capital city is Πιονγκγιάνγκ, which is also the largest city in the country. The government of Βόρεια Κορέα is a single-party state led by the Εργατικό Κόμμα της Κορέας. The country is known for its strict control over its citizens, limited freedom of expression, and a centrally planned economy. Despite its isolation, Βόρεια Κορέα has a rich cultural heritage, including traditional music, dance, and art.
